She had a hybrid childhood growing up in three cultures & countries: France, Poland, and California in the US. Sonia’s most recent film Coral won the Grand Prix at the Warsaw Film Festival, and screened at the 61st New York Film Festival, International Film Festival of Rotterdam, International Film Festival of Oberhausen, Hong Kong International Film Festival, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Film Festival, New Horizons International Film Festival, the Science New Wave Festival, and more. Sonia is a founder of Lamella Films and is currently writing and developing The Hearing Trumpet by Leonora Carrington into a feature film. She was recently featured as one of five directors shaping contemporary cinema by Vogue Polska.
